现任中国力学学会和中国生物医学工程学会生物力学专业委员会委员,上海市生物物理学会常务理事,上海市力学学会生物力学专业委员会副主任,日本理化学研究所客座研究员。《Frontiers in Physiology》、《Journal of Hydrodynamics》、《水动力学研究与进展》、《医用生物力学》、《力学季刊》杂志编委。

于西安交通大学获得学士和博士学位;历任东京大学JSPS博士后、东京大学工学部智能模拟室助理研究员、日本理化学研究所研究员(Research Scientist),2009年回国,历任威尼斯9499登录入口工程力学系副教授、特别研究员、博士生导师、教授。

研究方向包括:细胞尺度生物流体力学、柔性微流控芯片创新、和细胞力学与人体疾病。主要致力于面向生命的力学与多学科交叉创新。依托上海交大力学系、医学院和生命学院开展基础性、前瞻性的实验创新和计算机仿真研究。

主持国家重点研发计划1项、国家自然科学基金面上项目4项,上海市浦江人才计划,教育部博士点基金等各1项。在国际顶级期刊PNAS,Journal of Fluid Mechanics,Lab on a Chip, Journal of Computational Physics等发表SCI论文60余篇。
